How to Measure Your Inseam
Inseam determines pant length — get it right and hems land exactly where they should, with no bunching or dragging.
Steps
1. Stand straight against a wall, feet flat, without shoes.
2. Measure from your crotch seam straight down to your ankle bone.
3. Keep the tape close to your leg but not pressing hard.
The easier alternative
If you own a pair of pants that already fit your desired length, lay them flat and measure from the crotch seam to the bottom hem along the inside leg. This is often more reliable than measuring your own body, since it accounts for how the fabric actually falls.
